A covert team is formed after a direct attack against the CIA on American soil.
Disclaimer and full disclosure, I cannot claim credit for the buzzing (pre-amp hum) you hear under this entire clip, heh heh. Full credit for that goes to the post-production team, thank you.
It's minor and becomes a negligible issue once music and dialog start, but still--if you hire Polymathus Post Production, we'll make sure things like that don't end up in your final edit, and if it does--it gets fixed or it's free.

Zoltan Istvan: Transhumanist
Production Company: Vocativ
Client/Network: Vocativ
Role(s): Sound Mixer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Zoltan Istvan, a transhumanist, brought his 2016 presidenial campaign to Phoenix and we followed him around in his coffin-shaped RV conversion.
In this piece, I was the location sound recordist for everything EXCEPT the sit-down interview with Zoltan. I'm including this here because it is exemplary of the advantages of hiring a professional audio engineer for your production. In this, producers decided to save budget and "do the interview audio themselves." Even without high end monitors or headphones you should be able to hear the difference between the echoey/phasing interview audio and the rest.
Keep in mind that the interview setting is where you have most control over your environment to reduce noise and choose the proper mic & placement. The lab (with cooling fans for high-end robotics that couldn't be shut down), the parking lot (full of street noise & extras) and the keynote address (full of background noise and general chatter) all sounded better than the single-subject interview, right?
